Producing an Online Newsletter
The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and most successful chambers in the nation.
For years they had been producing their monthly newsletter in printed form--a significant expense for a non-profit organization.
We initiated the change to an HTML newsletter. The benefits were substantial. The Chamber was able to save the monthly printing costs, increase the number of pages, and include advertising as an additional revenue stream. Moreover, they were able to control their database of members and track who actually read the newsletter.
We used the "Meet the Members" theme which was already in place at the Chamber, featuring photos of real members. Then we added a Southwestern touch, using light blue backgrounds and sand-colored screens for color. We provided all the writing and editing, HTML coding, Photoshop work, and some of the photography.
